This lecture will highlight the advances made in computer imaging and how they are applied to dental education and learning. It will discuss the technology used to collect the images and the myriad of ways that data can be looked at to improve understanding. It will highlight the use of 3 dimensional, interactive viewing and show examples that can be used in everyday practice.

It will also discuss the impact of the web on life long learning for the practitioner and how it will effect consumer learning.
